The cacao fruit ripens on the tree and contains dozens of cacao beans encased in a sticky, sweet-sour pulp. The pulp is not at all like the chocolate we know. Its fruity taste is unique, interesting and refreshing. The production process is demanding, where real cocoa beans are hand-picked from the place of optimal ripening. They go through multiple quality control points and are processed under optimal fruit processing procedures.
